We are pleased to announce that Chromapolis will partner with GoodDollar, who is hosting a hackathon for all current and aspiring blockchain developers and enthusiasts in Tel Aviv, Israel. After months of working hard to develop an initial testnet for our platform, the team is ready to show the world what benefits the platform has and therefore allow other developers to test Chromapolis and develop in it.
Hackinequality 2019 is one of the most important blockchain hackathons in Israel. Organised by GoodDollar, a platform to reduce wealth inequality through the blockchain, the hackathon will aim to research possible applications of the blockchain for a better future for all. GoodDollar presents the hackathon in the following manner:
“The 26 richest people on the planet own as much, in terms of assets, as the 3.8 billion people that comprise the poorest half of the globe’s population, according to research presented by Oxfam in January 2019. How can blockchain technology, digital identity and advanced economic models be used to tackle global wealth inequality, one of today’s biggest problems?”
Chromapolis will be collaborating with the objective to reduce inequality and will offer a hosting platform for these applications.
We are a proud sponsor of the hackathon and we are looking forward to hosting great decentralised applications for a better future.
The winning teams will have a prize in cash, as well as full support to work in Chromapolis from our developer team. The prizes are of $2500, $1500 and $750.
The hackathon will take place on the 15th of March at eToro's offices: Champion Tower, 33rd Floor, Sheshet HaYamim 30, Bnei Brak. The hackathon will be preceded by a preparatory hackathon on the 5th of March. We encourage all blockchain developers in the region to join Chromapolis and GoodDollar’s initiative for the chance to start something amazing.
