Who is Chasm Network?
Chasm Network is reshaping artificial intelligence by combining it with blockchain and decentralization. The platform allows developers to create, deploy, and monetize AI systems more securely and efficiently. In a world where AI is controlled by a few large companies, Chasm aims to bring more transparency and fairness to the process.
Chasm Network is built on Mantle, an Ethereum Layer-2 rollup, where their native token Chasm AI ($CAI) will be launched on Thursday October 24th. While Mantle provides the foundation for Chasm’s infrastructure, Chromia is being used as a decentralized database to handle a critical task: the storing of AI inference data.
Our relational architecture makes us uniquely suited to store and manage Chasm Network’s inference data, making it accessible, tamper-proof, and decentralized. This ensures that the AI systems using Chasm’s opML inference mechanisms can be scrutinized by anyone, preventing bias, manipulation, or centralized control.
Chromia as a Data Utility Layer
To accomplish this task, Chasm Network has created the Chasm opML Database dapp in Rell and deployed it to Chromia’s mainnet. Activity for the application can be viewed in Chromia Explorer.
Chasm’s integration with Chromia serves as an excellent example of Chromia functioning as a utility layer for an existing EVM-based project. Chasm will store critical information on chains deployed on Chromia’s mainnet, creating a transparent and immutable repository. This data will be accessible and auditable, providing a verifiable record of AI decision-making processes.
This partnership showcases Chromia's capacity to integrate with diverse projects across the broader crypto ecosystem, enhancing value through secure and efficient data management for complex use cases, including decentralized AI.
