Welcome to the eleventh monthly update of 2024! Let’s take a look at the technical progress, key announcements, and news from around the world of Chromia from the last month:

Roadmap and Development Updates

The Asgard Mainnet Upgrade is Scheduled for December 3rd. This important technical update will establish the framework for Chromia Extensions, modular enhancements that allow developers to utilize additional features on top of Chromia’s platform. Read more here.
The Oracle Extension will be the first to be released, with a public demo following shortly after the upgrade is complete. Read more about the Oracle Extension here, and about Extensions as a whole here.
On November 7th, we announced that our Bridge Enhancement has been completed. This process included a third party audit by Quantstamp. This development is an important step toward bringing major assets like stablecoins, tokenized Bitcoin and tokenized Ethereum to Chromia Network and expanding TVL.
Earlier this month, Johnson Lai joined the Chromia team as our new Head of Data and AI. Johnson brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, as well as a clear vision of how Chromia’s relational architecture can help build decentralized AI solutions. Welcome aboard!
Check out this awesome November 22nd thread from Johnson Lai on X where he introduces ‘Neural Interface’ for Chromia, a tool that helps crypto and AI developers to build AI agents with their own on-chain AI “Brain”.

Native Staking Reminder

Native Staking launched on September 24th 2024, and is now live at https://staking.chromia.com.
Users can now stake native CHR, ERC-20 CHR, and BEP-20 CHR from a single interface and earn 10% APR.
Delegation and reward payouts now take place on Chromia mainnet. Please visit the staking page to ensure you have delegated.
Rewards earned under the old EVM staking system can be claimed at https://old-staking.chromia.com. Unclaimed rewards will expire in March 2025.
