Chromia enters 2026 following a year of meaningful progress across both the platform and ecosystem. Over the past year, efforts have focused on strengthening core infrastructure, adding new capabilities, and laying the groundwork for the next stage of growth. As we move forward, we will continue building on successes, identifying new opportunities for expansion, and creating long term value for the Chromia economy, ecosystem, and community.
A continuing area of development is Chromia’s on-chain AI capabilities. This includes hybrid computation, the AI Inference Extension, and Chromia’s vector database functionality. As these components continue to be refined, we are exploring how they can work together to support decentralized applications. This includes solutions built for new partners, existing ecosystem projects, and experimentation with new ideas that have the potential to expand Chromia’s user base.
Physical AI and robotics is another important area of ongoing development. This work is being advanced through EVAL Engine, a spinoff ecosystem project established last year. The ChromBot pilot was demonstrated at several community events in 2025, and the next phase will focus on adapting the concept for broader audiences by developing new products.
We will continue to support and build alongside proven ecosystem successes. My Neighbor Alice remains one of the busiest dapps on Chromia, with over 100,000 accounts and some of the most actively used FT4 tokens on the network. It remains a clear demonstration of the potential for large-scale applications built on Chromia’s infrastructure.
From the perspective of network traffic and stability, Chromia mainnet has never been more mature. Today, the network supports approximately 150,000 monthly active users, over one million total accounts, and has processed more than 180 million transactions with zero downtime since mainnet launch in 2024. The core team has continued to deepen its experience in network operations, provider onboarding, and long term maintenance, providing a stable foundation for the future.
Mainnet connectivity has continued to expand, with native support across major exchanges including Binance, Gate, MEXC, and BitMart. Chromia is also increasingly connected to other blockchain ecosystems, with integrations spanning Ethereum, Binance Chain, Base, and Arbitrum.
Another important milestone from last year was the arrival of essential decentralized finance tools. ColorPool provides a decentralized exchange for FT4 assets, while Udon Finance introduces lending and borrowing capabilities. With these tools in place, new projects and assets now have the ability to be traded, utilized, and contribute to TVL on mainnet.
In the year and a half following mainnet launch, there was a natural focus on expanding core capabilities and improving usability. Significant progress has been made across Vault, native staking, asset bridging, and onboarding. With much of this foundational work now complete, our focus will gradually shift from “What can Chromia do?”; to “What can people do on Chromia?”
We are entering a period of transition. This will include adjustments to short and mid term goals and a review of the existing quarterly roadmap framework. Going forward, there will be greater emphasis on experimentation, particularly around consumer facing features and applications, while continuing to build on what is already working. This shift will also focus on exploring areas where Chromia’s strengths align with broader market trends.
