Meet the New “Asset-Centric” Chromia Vault!
Chromia Vault has long been the gateway for users entering the Chromia mainnet, a place to view assets, explore dApps, and access essential features. Over the past few months, the team has focused on taking that experience to the next level. The result: a smoother, clearer, and more intuitive Vault built around one simple idea: your assets should be at the center of everything.
With a redesigned interface, cleaner navigation, and major upgrades across dApps, asset views, staking, transfers, and account management, the new Vault is easier to use than ever. Here is a section-by-section look at what’s new.
Dapps Tab
The updated dApps page makes it much easier to understand your presence across mainnet. Each tile represents a dApp or system chain, and each one can be expanded to show the assets you hold on that specific chain.
You can also use new quick action shortcuts to perform tasks from a single location. Whether you want to deposit tokens from another network or move assets between chains on mainnet, these options are now easier to find and faster to use.
Assets Tab
The redesigned Assets page is one of the most useful improvements in this update. It acts as a portfolio style view that shows all token balances across every dApp and system chain in one place.
This provides a clean overview of your entire mainnet footprint. There’s also a built-in transfer button beside each asset, making it straightforward to move tokens to whichever chain you need. For anyone active across multiple dApps, this page makes day to day management far simpler.
Staking
The native staking page has also received several important updates.
Dynamic Fee Sharing is now live, allowing providers to adjust how much of their rewards they share with delegates. This value appears in the “Reward” column and currently defaults to 10 percent unless a provider chooses to change it. This creates a healthier staking environment by encouraging providers to compete for delegators and helping balances distribute more evenly across the network.
The interface also displays an estimated APR that combines the three percent base reward with additional rewards based on each provider’s current share rate. These numbers are projections based on historical data, so actual results may vary, but the new UI makes it much easier to compare providers at a glance.
Get CHR
To make onboarding smoother, we have introduced a clearer guide that walks users through all available ways to acquire CHR. This includes fiat on ramps, centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges, and compatible wallet software.
Whether someone is new to Chromia or looking to expand their activity, this page gathers every option in one accessible place.
Transfer, Deposit, and Withdraw
These three core actions have also been revamped around the asset centric model.
Transfer allows you to move assets already on mainnet from one chain to another. This is helpful when interacting with different dApps or system chains.
Deposit lets you bridge tokens from supported external networks into Chromia. Recent additions include Base, which now joins Ethereum and Binance Chain as supported networks. Base integration is already being used in practice, including the onboarding of EVAL Engine’s EVAL token, now active on mainnet and trading on ColorPool.
Withdraw performs the opposite action by sending tokens from Chromia back out to Ethereum, Binance, Base, and other supported chains.
With this redesign, each flow reacts to the asset you choose and presents only the relevant options, making the experience clearer and harder to misunderstand.
Account Creation and Management
Chromia’s architecture uses multiple chains for scalability and customization, which means users sometimes need accounts across different dApp chains. At launch, this added a few extra steps. Today, those steps are far easier to manage.
Vault now offers streamlined account creation, clear explanations of when and why an account is needed, and improved handling of fees and bridging. Most importantly, everything is presented in a way that guides the user through each decision rather than leaving them to guess what to do next.
The end result is a much smoother onboarding and account management experience, even for users interacting with multiple dApps.
The Evolution of Chromia Vault
This update represents a major improvement to the overall mainnet experience. From asset visibility, to cross chain actions, to staking and onboarding, every section of Vault has been refined to be clearer, more consistent, and more user friendly.
As the ecosystem grows, Vault will continue evolving. The team is already working on the next round of enhancements, and you can expect ongoing improvements that make Chromia more accessible for both new users and long time participants.
