As we step into a new year, we’d like to take a moment to share our thoughts, reflections, and plans with the Chromia community. Each of us - Henrik, Alex, and Or - brings a unique perspective to the table, and together, we’re excited for what lies ahead in 2025.

As anyone in this industry knows, patience is a virtue. Blockchain development is not about singular moments of completion; it’s about steady, incremental progress. Every new initiative, every milestone, adds another block to the foundation we’ve been building for years. As we move into 2025, we’re seeing the results of that effort, and it’s incredibly rewarding.
This past year, we’ve seen several initiatives come to life. ChromaWay joined the AWS Partner Network, Traced Systems’ product passports grew from our participation in EBSI, and Phlomis Finance began paving the way for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). Fanzeal has made strides in digital collectibles, showing how diverse the Chromia ecosystem can become.
Looking ahead, adoption will continue to grow as these projects mature and as new initiatives emerge. It’s not about saying “it’s done” but about embracing the process and seeing each step as part of something much larger. ChromaWay and Chromia’s journey is far from over.

2024 was all about laying the groundwork. We've built a powerful foundation, and I'm incredibly proud of the progress we've made. Innovation isn't always a straight line, but the work we've done this year sets us up for explosive growth in 2025.
The Asgard Upgrade in December was a major win, and it's already accelerating development across the platform. This upgrade is the first step in unleashing the power of Chromia Extensions, which will unlock incredible new possibilities for developers and dapps in the coming year.
What excites me most? Seeing Chromia evolve into the ultimate data layer for dapps, fueled by cutting-edge AI features. We're not just building a platform; we're building an ecosystem. 2025 is the year where our internal development efforts will translate into a surge of user-facing dapps and organic growth. Get ready for an exciting ride!

2024 brought some big changes to our team and strategy. The addition of YJ and Johnson Lai, along with the emergence of our Data and AI Division, marks a significant step forward for Chromia. We’ve also launched the AI Ecosystem Fund to support projects in this rapidly evolving space, and we’re already seeing exciting developments.
Another highlight was the addition of native CHR support on MEXC - a milestone that signals more to come. As more CHR tokens migrate to mainnet, we plan to unlock opportunities for DeFi applications and make native CHR a tradable and leverageable asset within the ecosystem. This transition is pivotal for our growth.
We’re exploring partnerships and opportunities across multiple chains, particularly in data-centric and AI verticals. But it’s not just about one area; we’ve got many pots on the stove.
In the past, I’ve referred to “the year of Chromia,” and while 2024 was undeniably a step forward, 2025 is shaping up to be even more eventful. The crypto industry is at an inflection point, and we’re not here to sit on the sidelines. It’s time to make things happen.
