After serving as Chief Operating Officer since the company’s founding, Or Perelman has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of ChromaWay AB. He succeeds Henrik Hjelte, who has stepped down as CEO and will continue to serve as a member of the ChromaWay board of directors. Until further notice, the responsibilities of CEO and COO will be combined into a single role.

Since its founding in 2014, ChromaWay AB has operated across multiple sectors of the Web3 industry. This includes the development of public blockchain infrastructure through Chromia, enterprise focused solutions, and private blockchain technologies used across a range of industries. This leadership change reflects a prioritization of ChromaWay’s work in the public blockchain sector, with increased focus on product development, network growth, and end user engagement.
ChromaWay’s management team is led by CEO Or Perelman, Chief Architect Alex Mizrahi, and CTO Ludvig Öberg, with support from additional team members including Yeou Jie as Chromia’s Head of Business Development. Augmentation of the leadership group may be considered in the future to support continued growth.
From Chromia’s perspective, this leadership update marks an important step as the ecosystem enters its next phase of development. With core infrastructure in place, the focus heading into 2026 is on execution, adoption, and building long term value for users, partners, and the broader Chromia community.
