One-third of our Incentivized Testing Program, ProjectNet is an initiative designed for developers, inviting them to enter a Demo Dapp contest. The contest aims to promote creative and technical skills by awarding a total of 50,000 CHR to the top three submissions.
As of August 2nd the application window has closed, and we are now in the process of evaluating the submissions and choosing winners. In the meantime, we wanted to take the opportunity to provide a ProjectNet rundown for the community.

Facilitating Rell Development
On the subject of the Developer Experience Team, we wanted to take a moment to highlight the work they have done over the last year to make Rell development more accessible. This includes, but is not limited to:
Chromia Learn, our repository of educational material for developers.
The Rell Extension for Microsoft VS Code, which provides a streamlined working environment for Rell in the world's most widely used IDE.
The suite of utilities provided by Chromia CLI, including a template for connecting Rell backend functions with Javascript frontends.
Submission Highlights
We want to thank the participants who took the time to write detailed descriptions into their submission form. The following is not a list of all ProjectNet submissions, but gives these projects the chance to describe themselves in their own words.

Chronnect introduces the first ever decentralized PGP Public Key Server built on Chromia.
ChainSync aims to make the supply chain system more transparent for retail businesses. It allows showrooms to request products from showrooms and warehouses in different locations and track their delivery on-chain.
Rakein Protocol is the first lending protocol that enables users to lend and borrow a diverse range of cryptocurrencies and NFTs using variable interest rates on the Chromia blockchain.
PumpIt is a fully decentralized platform designed for users to create, trade, and manage tokens.
The platform provides a secure, trustless, and transparent environment for token creation and exchange.
It also includes features for locking tokens and managing social interactions around tokens.
Chromify allows users to issue and verify NFT certificates with confidence. The purpose of this dapp is to make certificates issued by institutions on course completion more efficient and transparent. As the certificate credentials and other important data is stored on Chromia blockchain, there's little chance of mutation or fake certificates. The dapp also allows third parties to easily verify the NFT certificates by entering Student ID and Certificate ID.
What’s Next: The Judging Process
The panel of judges listed on our ProjectNet info page are now in the process of evaluating all submissions to determine the final results.
Judges are considering a number of criteria, including:
- Overall code quality.
- Thoroughness of application.
- Real-world potential.
- Utilization of Chromia’s unique characteristics.
- Ease of use and user experience.
We expect to determine the winners and distribute prizes by the end of August.

A reminder that QuestNet, the longest-running initiative of the Incentivized Testing Program, is open until August 30th. Users can complete all the quest lines for a chance to share in the 100k CHR prize pool!
