We are pleased to report that our trip to NFT NYC 2022 was a huge success. Our team members and members of associated projects were on full display, participating in panel discussions and manning booths, networking with various people from around the industry and the general public. Here are some photos and a rundown of all the goings-on:
Todd Miller: A New Kind of Blockchain for a New Kind of NFT
ChromaWay’s director of US Business Development, Todd Miller, delivered a presentation discussing Chromia Originals and explaining how it can deliver next-generation gaming experiences that integrate with non-fungible tokens.
Todd highlighted many key points, starting with the story of Chromia and ChromaWay and discussing what sets our platform apart from competitors. He also highlighted My Neighbor Alice and Mines of Dalarnia, sharing screenshots as well as usage statistics and exploring potential synergies between the technologies.
Panel Talk: Game Design for Play to Earn Games
This panel featured ChromaWay’s Anastasia Plane, My Neighbor Alice’s Lenny Petterson, and Mines of Dalarnia’s Keith McCollough, alongside Quinn Campbell of Sky Mavis and Austin Stanfield of Divine Anarchy.
The discussion revolved around the ways that blockchain game designers can deliver enjoyable experiences while balancing in-game economies. During the panel, Lenny dropped some big news about My Neighbor Alice, when he revealed that the game’s first Alpha Season, dubbed the Season of the Timber Coast, was going live on June 30th!
Panel Talk: What’s Real? NFT Real Estate Physical vs Virtual
This panel featured Todd Miller, alongside Jenny Guo (Highstreet) and Alvaro Nunez (Super Luxury Group).
Discussion centered on the ongoing transformation of the Real Estate industry through the use of NFTs, as well the distinctions between ‘real’ and virtual property and the ways in which these lines are becoming increasingly blurred.
Of course, no conference appearance would be complete with a big booth set up to meet and greet with other industry pros as well as enthusiasts! Our booth was decked out, complete with merch, product demos, and more!
Another Step Forward for the Brand
Over the last few years, we have come a long way in increasing the visibility of our brand, while also building a strong network of connections across the industry. We love participating in events like NFT.NYC, as it is a great way to meet people and forge new partnerships. Although things are still being finalized behind the scenes, we have made some very interesting connections that will be revealed in due time! We will continue to press forward in both our market and business development over the rest of 2022 and beyond!
Modern society runs on data and every online service you’re using is built upon underlying databases - ranging from your online bank to music streaming and gaming. Chromia is a relational blockchain - a combination of a relational database and a blockchain - making it easy to develop user-friendly decentralized apps for almost any industry, including DeFi, NFTs, gaming, and more.
