Today we are unveiling our updated roadmap, as we begin the final leg of our journey towards mainnet!
Since the beginning, we have been working to deliver a platform that can scale beyond what is currently possible while redefining the user experience typical of decentralized applications. Over time, the scope of our vision grew to include EVM interoperability. The end result will be a modular network that can support powerful Layer-1 dapps, while also fulfilling a variety of Layer-2 use cases.
In 2024, we will launch an innovative and interoperable relational blockchain platform, the culmination of years of development and the steadfast dedication of our community. This revised roadmap has been created through collaboration between C-Level executives, development, marketing, and design teams. All levels of the project are fully aligned and ready to deliver!
As part of this transition, expect an increase in our marketing activities. Across our communication channels, we will continue to deliver regular content and updates, while also broadening our horizons. This expansion will include Discord community calls with our developers, more video content, Q&As, AMAs, and consistent growth across multiple social media platforms. Additionally, we will leverage KOLs and media outlets to also raise awareness across the larger crypto market.
The roadmap does not include an exact launch date - it is in everyone’s best interest for Chromia to be built to a standard instead of a set deadline. We will continue to keep the community informed on our progress.
After all required features are operational on the Public Testnet, a Mainnet release candidate will be finalized. Once this is done we will proceed to public beta testing, and ultimately Chromia Mainnet 1.0.
While this landmark is the final stop on our ‘Road to Mainnet’, it marks the beginning of a longer journey in which Chromia’s tech will continue to evolve while our ecosystem grows.
We are thankful for our community and everyone who has contributed to our progress. Chromia is and always has been a very ambitious project - from day one, the founders set out to build something different from the ground up. As these ambitions come closer to realization, we are excited to unveil the work that’s been done, and that the community has patiently waited for. We’re confident that the wait will be worth it.
